Denise Ferrand-Teulet 

French pianist and composer born in Montreal, Canada, July 28, 1921. She studied the piano under Marguerite Long and Jacques Fevrier at the Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud School and composition under Arkady Trebinsky, director of the Russian Conservatory in Paris. She performed as a pianist in Munich, Frankfurt, Baden-Tuebingen and throughout France. In 1957 she won a Pas de Loup prize for her Concerto for Piano and Chamber Orchestra. She is a member of SACEM.
